Terms of Service

1. The service

iSweepy is a native macOS utility that scans for system junk, duplicate files, unused applications, privacy traces, and malware, and removes items only after you review and confirm them. The app requires macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later and runs on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. Some modules require system permissions (such as Full Disk Access) that you grant explicitly through macOS System Settings.

2. Accounts

Accounts are identified by email address only and verified with a one-time login code — there are no passwords. You are responsible for keeping access to that email address secure, since anyone who controls it can sign in to your iSweepy account. Notify us immediately at login@isweepy.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. License grant

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use iSweepy on up to 2 Macs that you own or control, for your own use. You may not resell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the app or your license.

4. Free plan and fair use

The Free plan includes real, usable functionality with monthly limits that reset each month: Smart Care runs, cleanup volume in MB, and app uninstalls. The manual malware scan is unlimited and free forever. These limits exist to keep the product sustainable; circumventing them (for example by manipulating counters or system clocks) is a violation of these terms.

5. Subscriptions (Pro Monthly & Pro Yearly)

Pro Monthly and Pro Yearly are auto-renewing subscriptions billed through Paddle. Key points:

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime; Pro features remain active until the end of the paid period. No partial-period refunds are owed for the remainder.
• Pro Yearly starts with a 7-day free trial. If you cancel within the trial, you are not charged.
• Prices may change; we will notify you before a renewal at a new price takes effect.

6. Lifetime license

The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase that unlocks all Pro features for the current major version of iSweepy, including free updates within that major version, on up to 2 Macs. A future paid major upgrade, if any, may be offered separately — Lifetime holders will receive it at a discount or free at our discretion. 'Lifetime' refers to the product's supported lifetime, not the purchaser's.

7. Payments, taxes, and Paddle

All orders are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as Merchant of Record and is the seller of record for every purchase. Paddle handles payment collection, applicable taxes (such as VAT), invoicing, and payment security. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms. We never receive or store your card details.

8. Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Paddle under its standard refund policy, in addition to any rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your country. If you believe something went wrong with your purchase, email us at login@isweepy.com and we will help you route the request.

9. The safety model and your responsibility

iSweepy is deliberately conservative: every deletion goes through a preview step, and removed files are moved to the macOS Trash rather than permanently deleted, so they remain recoverable until you empty the Trash yourself. However, you make the final call on what to remove. You are responsible for reviewing the preview before confirming, and for maintaining your own backups (such as Time Machine) as good practice for any system utility.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app, except where law expressly permits.
• Circumvent license verification, tier limits, or device activation limits.
• Share one license across more people or Macs than it permits.
• Use the app to interfere with systems you don't own or lack permission to manage.

11. Updates and changes to the app

We may add, change, or remove features over time, including adjusting which modules exist and how they work, provided the core value you paid for is preserved. Malware signature updates and safety improvements may be delivered automatically.

12. Intellectual property

iSweepy, its code, design, logo, and content are our intellectual property, protected by copyright and other laws. These terms grant you a license to use the app; they do not transfer any ownership.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

iSweepy is provided 'as is' and 'as available', without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or that every unwanted file will be detected.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data arising from items you confirmed for removal. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for iSweepy in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law, including mandatory consumer protections in Türkiye and the EU.

15. Termination

You may stop using iSweepy and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate a license that materially violates these terms (for example, license circumvention), after notifying you where reasonably possible. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability) survive.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you reside. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably are subject to the courts and enforcement offices of Türkiye, or, where consumer law grants it, the courts of your place of residence.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. For material changes, we will update the date above and notify account holders by email before the changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
