App Updater checks your installed applications against their known latest versions and flags anything out of date — useful for catching apps that don't check for updates on their own.

iSweepy never auto-installs updates; it links you to the official download or Mac App Store page so you stay in control of what changes.

How to use it

  1. 1Open iSweepy and select App Updater under Apps.
  2. 2Click Scan to check installed apps against known versions.
  3. 3Review which apps have updates available.
  4. 4Click an app to open its official download page.
  5. 5Update manually at your own pace.

Safety note

This module is read-only by design — it reports what it finds but never changes or removes anything automatically. Any action you take from here still goes through a preview step first.
