Find Leftovers

Pro

Orphaned files from apps you already removed.

If you've ever uninstalled an app the manual way — dragging it to the Trash — its support files are almost certainly still on your Mac. Leftovers scans standard system locations for files that no longer have a matching app.

Each result shows which app it likely belonged to and where it lives, so you're never guessing.

How to use it

  1. 1Open iSweepy and select Find Leftovers under Apps.
  2. 2Click Scan to check standard system locations.
  3. 3Review each orphaned file and its likely source app.
  4. 4Deselect anything you're unsure about.
  5. 5Click Clean to move the rest to Trash.

Safety note

Removed items are moved to the Finder Trash, never permanently deleted on the spot. You can restore anything from the Trash right up until you empty it yourself.
