The Malware module scans your Mac against a maintained signature registry of known adware, browser hijackers, and unwanted background agents, checking file paths, launch agents, and process names.
A full manual scan is free forever on every account, with no scan-count limit — we believe basic protection shouldn't be paywalled.
Pro adds scheduled automatic scans and a background watchdog that alerts you the moment something suspicious tries to install itself.
How to use it
- 1Open iSweepy and select Malware under Protection.
- 2Click Scan to run a full manual scan — always free.
- 3Review any flagged items with their threat details.
- 4Select the items you want to remove.
- 5Click Clean to quarantine them via the Trash.
Safety note
iSweepy always shows you a full preview before anything is removed. Nothing is deleted until you review the list and confirm — files go to the macOS Trash (never a raw delete), so you can recover them until you empty it.
