Maintenance
ProDNS flush, Spotlight reindex, and other health tasks.
Maintenance bundles the routine terminal-level tasks that keep macOS running smoothly — flushing the DNS cache, rebuilding Spotlight's index, and clearing font caches — behind a single click.
Each task is scoped to your user session and fully reversible; nothing here touches system files outside Apple's own documented maintenance commands.
How to use it
- 1Open iSweepy and select Maintenance under System.
- 2Review the list of available maintenance tasks.
- 3Select the ones you want to run.
- 4Click Run to execute the selected tasks.
- 5Check the Activity Log for a summary of what ran.
Safety note
System-level actions here are reversible and scoped to your user session — iSweepy never modifies protected system files, and every change is logged in the Activity Log so you can see exactly what ran.
