Old installers and disk images, cleared out.

Your Downloads folder fills up with .dmg, .pkg, and .zip installers that were only ever needed once. iSweepy flags files that look like installers and haven't been touched in a while.

You always see the file name, type, and last-modified date before deciding what stays.

How to use it

  1. 1Open iSweepy and select Downloads under Cleaning.
  2. 2Click Scan to check your Downloads folder for stale installers.
  3. 3Review each file's type and last-modified date.
  4. 4Deselect anything you still need.
  5. 5Click Clean to move the rest to Trash.

Safety note

iSweepy always shows you a full preview before anything is removed. Nothing is deleted until you review the list and confirm — files go to the macOS Trash (never a raw delete), so you can recover them until you empty it.
