Large & Old Files

Free

The forgotten files quietly eating your storage.

Large & Old Files searches your whole disk for files above a size threshold that haven't been opened in months — the video export, the old VM disk image, the dataset you forgot about.

Every result shows size, file type, and the last time it was accessed, so you can tell at a glance what's safe to move or remove.

How to use it

  1. 1Open iSweepy and select Large & Old Files under Storage.
  2. 2Click Scan to search your disk with the default thresholds.
  3. 3Sort results by size or last-accessed date.
  4. 4Select the files you want to remove.
  5. 5Click Clean to move them to Trash.

Safety note

iSweepy always shows you a full preview before anything is removed. Nothing is deleted until you review the list and confirm — files go to the macOS Trash (never a raw delete), so you can recover them until you empty it.
